Climate Change - The Facts vs The Hype

In Takoma Park MD city officials are preparing to ban all fossil fuels in the city, which is estimated to cost every resident upwards of $25,000, all in the name of "climate change". And liberal cities and states across the country are all jumping on board the climate change train.

This article has one purpose - to separate the actual fact from the hype. This article is not going to dispute that the Earth's average mean temperature is rising - it may be. But we do dispute that it will have any appreciable effect that will do us more harm than good, and will provide something the climate change cult cannot do - provide absolute proof. But first - just to get some people thinking for themselves - let's ask a few simple yet pertinent questions:

• Why would the biggest proponents of climate change, like Gore, Obama & Kerry all purchase multi-million dollar ocean-front properties if they actually believe their own speeches?
• In 2001 Gore said coastal cities would be underwater in 10 years. That was 20 years ago. Have any coastal cities been swallowed by the ocean?
• In fact, has the high-water mark at your favorite beaches risen? Not at mine.
• Have we experienced more, or worse hurricanes as promised? Nope - fewer. There were far worse hurricanes in the early 1900's
• Have polar bears become extinct? No, they have increased in number.

Everyone should take a few moments to study these two charts (click to enlarge) - the top one is the "proof" being offered by the climate change cult - a mere 180 years of data out of the 4 billion years that Earth has been spinning around the sun. Think about that - they are basing their claims on .000000045 of the life of the planet. Chances are your calculator won't even go that low.

The lower chart was created by actual climatologists who studied Earth's climate going back over 10,000 years, and published by the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration. It shows that the climate of Earth is normally much higher than now, and Mankind thrived in the warmer periods. So that poses another question - why do those who push climate change conveniently ignore the lower chart?

And here you will find the PALEOMAP chart created by scientists who have studied Earth's climate dating back 4 billion years, based on information gathered from Earth cores and other methods.

MORE IMPORTANT QUESTIONS

And here is the most important question of all - why are so many rich, important people and organizations - even the United Nations - pushing a climate change agenda if it is not going to do the damage they have been telling us about? And why have so many so-called scientists all signed onto it? What, exactly, is behind it?

I could say it is simple - just follow the money. Those "scientists" depend on grants for their income - grants from governments, the U.N., rich people with an agenda. And with very few exceptions, almost all the nations in the U.N. want to share America's wealth, and take us down in the process. The U.N. is no friend of the U.S. The geo-political world is one giant game of "King of the Hill", and the United States is King. It is the task of the others to try and take us down. That is how nations survive - or not.

You might note, if you have been paying attention, that the Paris Climate Accord, the United Nations Climate Change Panel and all other international attempts to deal with climate change all have one thing in common - the United States would be required to pay for almost all of it, even though we pollute far less than almost every other nation per capita.

As for Gore, Obama, Kerry et al? They all have their hands in the till. Al Gore claims he is on course to become the world’s first “carbon billionaire” and is estimated to have made over $300 million from climate change activities. It's easy to see why he pushes it!

But even that is not the complete reason behind the climate change push. It gets much more insidious. Getting the population of the world to fear extinction is the surest way to successfully push a globalist, socialist agenda, where the elites would run everything "for our own good" and the masses - you and I - would be little more than peons. We know this because many of them have said as much. In fact, the richest man on Earth, the great puppetmaster  George Soros, is proud to say so, and he funds 123 powerful organizations that are all pushing that agenda - globsalism, socialism and climate change.

No, this is not a "conspiracy theory", as such. It is, in fact, a conspiracy, and not just a theory and you can discover it yourself quite easily. The people behind it are very vocal as to their intent, to those who pay attention to what they are actually saying.

CLIMATE CHANGE IS A BOON, NOT A THREAT

As seen in the chart, above, Mankind thrived in warm periods and suffered in the cold spells. It also shows that climate is cyclical - it is always in a state of flux. But it also shows that we are currently on the "negative" side - temperatures cooler than what is even baseline normal. The reason: we are just coming out of a minor ice age that began around 1300 and did not "end" until around 1850. And it takes many years to exit an ice age - often hundreds of years. That ice age is called "The Little Ice Age", or LIA for short. You should do some research on it - it is a real eye opener. Understand, however - those who have been drinking the climate change kool-aid will likely ignore it, just as they will ignore the chart, above. But intelligent, free-thinking individuals will begin to see the value in the facts that Al Gore et al have conveniently left out of the discourse, in order to attain great wealth and power for themselves - at our expense.

Note that while they tell us we - you and I -  have to give up every modern convenience to fight climate change, not a single one of them is giving up anything at all - not their jets, not their 20,000 square foot oceanside homes, not their $10,000/month electic bills or their fleet of SUV's. By the way - how much of that $300,000,000 Gore has made from climate change fear-mongering has he used to help solve the "problem" he claims exists? And if he REALLY believes in climate change, and that it will destroy us all, why is he not putting up most of that to save humanity - of which he is included?

Trick question, sure. But it points to the truth.

Climate Change - A Scientific Reality Check

It's no secret that a huge portion of the world populations - and many "scientists" - are worried about the effects of climate change. And many, like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are even claiming we will be extinct in 12 years if we do not do something radical.

Recently, thousands of so-called "scientists" (which sciences, I might ask - herpetologists - study of reptiles?) signed a petition to fight climate change, claiming it will destroy life as we know it.

But it is all pure BS and hype, and there is scientific proof.

First, we must understand that the climate is always changing, ever since the Earth was formed. Nothing in nature remains static, and everything is cyclical. So, yes, the climate is changing. But in no way is that detrimental to human life.

Just take a look at this climate chart created by actual CLIMATE scientists from real data:

 

What you see is that the Earth's normal temperature is normally substantially higher than it is now. It also shows that in periods of greater warmth, civilizations prospered. It also shows that the Earth was in a "mini" ice age from the 13th century through the first half of the 19th century, and we are only now beginning to get back to normal.

It is important to note that these statistics were compiled using scientific methods, studying Earth cores and other climate data from around the world. And the scientists who created this study and chart are actual climatologists, and not scientists from other unrelated fields, like those being used by the climate change fanatics.

Yes, the Earth may be warming, but that is a natural occurrence as we exit an ice age. And no, it will not harm us in any way of consequence. In fact, if history is any indicator (and it usually is), Mankind will actually thrive. If the Earth warms, there is much less need for fossil fuels to warm us. And as glaciers recede, more arable land is made available for growing crops to feed a growing population. And the melting provides more fresh water. And when we are warm and well fed, nations have less need to go to war, to take what they need from others (like mid-East oil).

So, where is the threat that climate change "chicken littles" are crying about? Elitist liberals like Al Gore, John Kerry and Barak Obama, all with multi-million dollar homes on the coast, may very well find themselves treading water IF the claims they are making actually come to fruition. Big financial centers, found mainly near seaports, may have to employ boats instead of Uber to get around, like in Venice, Italy. But it is not climate that is causing the damage, except indirectly - it is the result of human folly, where for centuries we have ignored Mother Nature and have insisted on building our cities so close to potentially rising waters.

Need proof? Every year the major rivers - Mississippi, Missouri etc. - reach flood stages, destroying homes and damaging cities. And yet every year people rebuild those homes and cities. It's a type of insanity, which is often defined as "doing the same things over and over, and expecting a different result."

Yes, the Earth may well be in a warming period. But that is a GOOD thing. It is also something that is natural, so there is no way we can stop it short of doing something drastic to create a cooling period, which would lead to an ice age. And THAT would harm us...
